Mr. Paul William Price, age 62, of Salem, died Tuesday, May 15, 1990. He was a veteran of the Salem Police Department with 39 1/2 years service. He was a member of Taylor Lodge #23 A.F. & A.M. He was preceded in death by his son, Robin R. Price. He is survived by his wife, Frances Mutter Price; daughter and son-in-law, Paula Price and Thomas W. Adams; grandchildren, R. Shane Price, Amie Virginia Price, Christopher Adams, Noah Adams, Joshua Adams; sisters, Beatrice P. Carper, New Castle; Madeline P. Linkenhoker of Salem; Agnes P. Nowlin of Salem; Irene P. Locke of Richmond; brother, Howard H. Price of Salem. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the John M. Oakey and Son Funeral Home Chapel, Salem, with the Rev. Wayne W. McCauley officiating. Burial will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Christian Church Building Fund, Salem, or the Salem Rescue Squad. Friends may call at the funeral home.
