Mrs. Edgar W. (Lola B.) Dolinger, age 79, of Seven Mile Ford, died Tuesday, May 15 in the Smyth County Community Hospital. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband. She is survived by two daughters, Alene Cregger, Marion; Barbara Kidd, Roanoke; three sons, Wilton C. Dolinger, Independence; Billy J. Dolinger, Chilhowie; Ronda Lee Dolinger, Salem; five sisters; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 18 at Macedonia Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Macedonia Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 Thursday evening at the Newberry Funeral Home, Chilhowie. The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service. Newberry Funeral Home, Chilhowie, is in charge of the arrangements.
