OBIT LAWSON, R.

Robert Cecil Lawson, age 63, of Route 4, died Tuesday evening, May 15, 1990, at Montgomery Regional Hospital. He was the son of the late T. G. and Sarah A. Lawson. Surviving are his wife, Ruth Lawson; one son, Kenny Lawson, Christiansburg; three daughters, Jean Hagee, Radford; Debbie Dowdy, Blacksburg; Eva Branch, Pulaski; a sister, Betty Ratcliff, Christiansburg; a brother, Allen Lawson, Christiansburg; and seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday from the New River Baptist Temple conducted by the Rev. Bob Ferguson and the Rev. Everett Shepherd with burial in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 Thursday evening at the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg.
