AT&T, UNIONS AGREE ON RETIREMENT PLAN

AT&T and two labor unions Tuesday agreed on a voluntary early retirement plan for non-management employees that will add 15,500 to the number eligible for a pension.

The agreement with Communications Workers of America and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers will add three years of age and three years of service to the records of 15,500 employees, AT&T said.
