Leonard F. Hodges, age 68, of Roanoke, died Friday, May 18, 1990. He attended Melrose Baptist Church, was a retired clerk N&W Railway, and an Army veteran of World War II. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Marie M. Hodges; two daughters and one son-in-law, Brenda H. and Jim Harris, Roanoke; Bonnie H. Chattin, Salem; three dearly love grandchildren, Steve Harris, Rhonda and Sara Chattin; one brother, James M. Hodges, Salem; two sisters, Louise H. Harrison and Nellie H. Strickler, both of Salem. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 21 with the Rev. Larry E. Sprouse officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.
