OBIT MORRIS, M.

Michael Grady Gaston (Mike) Morris, age 15, died Sunday, May 20, 1990, from injuries received in an automobile accident. Mr. Morris was a sophomore at Giles High School. He was born in Radford, Va., October 23, 1974. He is survived by his father, Jon D. Morris, Sr., Fairmont, W.Va.; mother, Carol S. Morris, Pearisburg; one brother, Jon D. Morris, Jr., Pearisburg; two sisters, Mrs. Bill (Angie) Spangler, Pearisburg; Miss Melanie L. Morris, Pearisburg; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Bertha Steele, Pearisburg. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. in the Riverview Baptist Church with the Rev. Shahn Wilburn and the Rev. Rich Powell officiating with burial in Birchlawn Burial Park. Friends may call at the Givens Funeral Home Tuesday from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mike Morris Memorial Fund, C/O Giles High School, Pearisburg, Va.
