Cooper Industries, parent of Gardner-Denver Mining and Construction of Roanoke, said it has acquired the assets of Rockwell Industrial Tools, an operating unit of Allen-Bradley Co., Inc. It will become part of the Cooper Power Tools Division, formerly known as Cooper Air Tools, with headquarters at Lexington, S.C.

\ Footaction USA of Dallas said it has bought Mr. Sport sporting goods stores at Valley View Mall in Roanoke, River Ridge Mall in Lynchburg, at Virginia Beach and five locations in North and South Carolina. Footaction, a sporting goods retail chain, has an operation at Tanglewood Mall.
