3 ROANOKE PLAYERS ON ALL-AMERICA

The All-America women's lacrosse teams announced Monday included two first-team Division I representatives from Virginia and three first-team Division III choices for Roanoke College.

Virginia's Jill Dunham and Robyn Nye were cited on defense.

Roanoke's Mary Brown and Robin Collinson were selected on attack and Nicole Coppola on defense. The Lady Maroons finished their season 18-1, including a loss in the NCAA Division III semifinals.

Attack Cynthia Mathes of Virginia made second team in Division I.

Erica Katz of Virginia Tech made the all-college club team on attack. - Staff report
