MONETA WOMAN DIES IN TRAFFIC ACCIDENT

A Moneta woman was killed Tuesday when she lost control of her car and skidded into oncoming traffic on Virginia 122, just south of Virginia 654 in Bedford County.

Martha Sue Ziats, 34, was driving north on Virginia 122 just after noon when her car skidded into a southbound pickup truck, police said.

Ziats was dead at the scene.
