OBIT DOTSON, J.

James William Dotson, age 67, of Roanoke, died Tuesday in a Salem hospital. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nancy Elizabeth Dotson; one son, James W. Dotson, Jr.; one daughter, Mrs. Carolyn Dotson Meador; four brothers, Bennie Dotson, Elbert Dotson, Jr., Gordon Dotson, Con Ray Dotson; five sisters, Mrs. Thelma Surface, Mrs. Donna Belcher, Mrs. Juanita Mey, Mrs. Shirley Sparks, Ms. Geraldine Dotson; four grandchildren, Stephanie Leigh Meador, Robin Lynette Meador, Annemarie Meador, Christie Noelle Rubinelli; one great-grandchild, Christopher Gavin Rubinelli. Graveside service will be held Thursday, May 24, at 1:00 p.m. at Fair View Cemetery, with the Rev. John Autry officiating. Friends may call at Lotz Salem Chapel.
