RADFORD HIGH STUDENTS PLACE IN SCIENCE FAIR

Several students from Radford High School were recognized at the Western Virginia Regional Science Fair at Hollins College.

Jason Pontius and Kevin Cropper were finalists in the competition.

Julie Crawford won a U.S. Army Award for Excellence.

Chip Tayler won an award for excellence, a first-place award in physics, a scholarship, and the Science Museum of Western Virginia Spotlight Award.

Kass Kastning won several top awards including the Fair's Grand Award which includes a scholarship and an all-expense-paid trip to the International Science and Engineering Fair in Tulsa.
