Willie Melvin Gibson, age 61, of Wellsley St., N.W., died Tuesday in Franklin County. He is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Albert L. and Frovina Gibson; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Virginia I. Divers, Lucille and Thomas Wade, Catherine and Huie Via, Helen and Joe Clements; a devoted friend, Dorothy Bonds; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Friday at 12:00 noon at the Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Dwight O. Steele will officiate, with burial in Williams Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Arrangements by Hamlar-Curtis.
