Mrs. Linda Snead Price, age 102, died Tuesday, May 22, 1990, in the Smyth County Community Hospital, Marion. She was the widow of Hezekiah K. Price. She was preceded in death by one son, Bradley Price; one grandson, Charles Price Herndon. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Charles Herbert (Hattie) Herndon, Chilhowie; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Bradley (Mary Helen) Price, Bristol; one sister, Mrs. Stella Wysor, Akron, Ohio; one granddaughter, Ann Bradley P. Deaton, Roanoke; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the Chilhowie United Methodist Church with the Rev. David T. St. Clair officiating. Burial will follow in the Knollkreg Memorial Park, Abingdon. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday at the Williams Funeral Home. The body will be taken to the church one hour before the service.
