SORORITY TO SPONSOR PAGEANT

The Junior/Senior Pageant, sponsored by the Beta Chi Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority, will be held Saturday at 7 p.m. in the auditorium at William Fleming High School.

Tickets cost $6, with proceeds going to the chapter's scholarship fund.

The contestants are:

Sheyonn Baker, a sophomore at William Fleming, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Freddie Baker.

Donny Blankenship, a junior at Patrick Henry High School, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donny Blankenship.

Denise Cotton, a freshman at William Fleming, daughter of Richard Cotton and Deborah Witcher.

Dionya Grady, a freshman at William Fleming, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Grady.

Melanie Hayden, a freshman at William Fleming, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Hayden.

Tonya Johnson, an eighth-grader at Ruffner Middle School, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Johnson.

Latoya Jones, a sixth-grader at Ruffner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jones.

Tonya McGhee, an eighth-grader at Ruffner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John McGhee.

Ebony Mitchell, an eighth-grader at Ruffner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Mitchell.

Connie Perdue, an eighth-grader at Lucy Addison Middle School, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cornell Perdue.

Kia Price, a sixth-grader at James Madison Middle School, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Price.

Marisa Redmond, an eighth-grader at Ruffner, daughter of Elizabeth Ingram.
