Roy Barrett, age 52, of Roanoke, died Tuesday, May 22, 1990. He is survived by his wife, Anita Barrett, Roanoke; four sons and daughters-in-law, Roy Barrett, Jr., Tenn.; William and Wendy Barrett, Albert and Marie Barrett, Clyde Barrett, all of Rocky Mount; seven daughters and son-in-law, Linita Saunders, Roanoke; Susan and Christopher Niday, Troutville; Cindy Lou Barrett, Kentucky; Elvira James, Boston, Mass.; Jeanette Barrett, Geraldine Barrett and Patricia Barrett, all of Indiana; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jessie and Ethel Barrett, Kentucky; Brad and Kathy Barrett, Corbin, Ky.; three sisters and brother-in-law, Mae Goodale, Spring Harbor, Fla.; Jeanette and Roy Crawford, Moneta; Geraldine Keller, Cherokee, Ala.; one grandchild, Jessie Barrett; mother and father-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Sidney L. Bower, Troutville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 26, at 11:00 a.m. at the Rader Troutville Chapel with the Rev. Jesse Powell officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Those wishing to make donations please consider the Mt.
