\ James Addison Thompson, age 92, of Roanoke, passed Friday in a local hospital. He was a retired plastering contractor and was predeceased by his wife, Clara Etta Poage Thompson. Surviving are one son, James L. (Buddy) Thompson, Roanoke; two daughters, Mrs. Jack W. (Marie) Lucas, Roanoke; Miss Lorraine Thompson, Roanoke; one sister, Ellen Combs, Crab Orchard, W. Va.; four grandchildren, David L. Thompson, Kay E. Thompson, Ronald L. Lucas and Stephen R. Lucas, also four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 28, 1990, from the Lotz Salem chapel. The Rev. Dr. Charles W. Easley will officiate. Interment will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. Friends may call at Lotz Salem Chapel.
