\ RICHMOND - Miss Viva Cleo Allen, formerly of Blacksburg, died Friday, May 25, 1990, in a Richmond hospital. Miss Allen was a member of the Providence United Methodist Church in Richmond. Surviving are three sisters, Thelma Elmore, Wytheville; Helen Williams, Christiansburg; Virginia Crockford, Richmond; three brothers, Melvin Allen, Dubery, Fla.; Daniel Allen, Salem; Hugh Ledford Allen, Bristol, Tenn.; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Saturday 4:00 p.m. at Bennett's Funeral Home, Central Chapel, Richmond. Graveside services will be Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in Westview Cemetery in Blacksburg, Va. conducted by the Rev. Stanley Hunter. Local arrangements by Hoy-McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
