The Lady Bruins finished the two-day meet with 36 points to 34 for Hampton, 28 for T.C. Williams, 27 for Phoebus and 25 3/4 for Cave Spring.
Lake Braddock's foursome of Carey Foor, Kerry Newberry, Heather Schalber and Angel Carbone covered the 3,200 meters in 9:31.6, bettering the previous state record of 9:32.45 set by Lake Braddock in 1989.
Cave Spring's Jill Fountain, who won the discus on Friday, finished second in the shot with a put of 40 feet, 4 1/2 inches. Tracy Claytor scored the only points for William Fleming, placing fourth in the 110-meter high hurdles in 14.73 seconds.
In the boys' meet, J.T. Morris and Tyrone Turpin led Heritage to the team championship with 46 points. T.C. Williams was second at 40.
Morris was one of two double winners, taking the shot put at 55-6 and the discus at 161-4. Turpin won the the 200 meters in 21.30 and was second in the 100 in 10.68.
The only other double winner was Dennis Toole of Gar-Field, who took the high hurdles in 14.03 and the intermediate hurdles in 37.15.
William Fleming tied with First Colonial for 17th place with 12 points. Mike Reed finished second in the 800 with a time of 1:53.90, and Mike Wheatley was fourth in the 100 in 10.99 seconds.
Cave Spring's 3,200-relay team recorded the year's best time in Timesland (8:08.3) but did not place.
