\ Alvin Lewis Brown, age 64, of Salem, died Saturday in a Salem hospital. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nellie Howard Brown; his mother, Mrs. Lessie B. Brown, Salem; two brothers, Vernon Brown and Arnold Brown, both of Salem; four sisters, Mrs. Lois Moses, Pennington Gap; Mrs. Betty Turner, Salem; Mrs. Dorothy Blankenship, Huddleston; Mrs. Mary Lou Wells, Salem; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 29, at 11:00 a.m. at Lotz Salem Chapel with the Rev. David Neal officiating. Interment will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. Friends may call at Lotz Salem Chapel after 12:00 noon Monday.
