3 VIRGINIANS WIN AT ROAD ATLANTA

Greg Crandall, Flip Groggins and Jeff Werth won events at the Sports Car Club of America national races at Road Atlanta on Sunday.

Crandall of Forest drove an E-production Porsche, Werth of Northern Virginia drove a GT5 Datsun and Groggins of Roanoke drove a V-6 turbo Buick in GT1 to win his second event in a row.

Also racing from the SCCA Blue Ridge Region were Alan Childress of Roanoke in a Sports 2000, Jim Myers of Lynchburg in a GT4 Datsun and Jeff Wendell of Roanoke in a showroom stock C Toyota MR2. - Staff report
