TWO PH PLAYERS ALL-GROUP AAA SOCCER

Lang Wedemeyer and Michael Eddy of Patrick Henry were selected to the first team All-Group AAA soccer team.

Eddy had 24 goals and 16 assists while Wedemeyer had 14 goals and 11 assists. Wedemeyer was the 1989 Timesland player of the year.

The Patriots, runner-up in the Roanoke Valley District to Cave Spring, also had Frank Draper on the second team. - Staff report
