HEALTH CAREERS LEAD GROWTH PROJECTIONS

The fastest-growing jobs in the next 10 years will be in health-related occupations, according to a new Occupational Outlook Handbook from the Bureau of Labor Statistics in the Department of Labor.

Faster than average growth also is expected for managers, professional specialty occupations and technicians. Six occupations expected to require large numbers of people are computer programmer, computer systems analyst, electrical and electronic engineer, homemaker-home health aide, receptionist and registered nurse.
