Mrs. Lorene Meador Wheeler, age 60, of Vinton, died Wednesday at her home. Surviving are her husband, Leonard Elton (Jake) Wheeler; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Gary E. Wheeler, Thaxton; Paul E. and Debbie W. Wheeler, Vinton; a granddaughter, Tiffany Marie Wheeler; brothers, Shirley T. Meador and Willie E. Meador, Jr.; sisters, Cora B. Saunders, June M. Wilkes, all of Vinton. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's Vinton Chapel at 3:00 p.m. Friday, June 1, 1990 with the Rev. Johnny Basham and the Rev. George Wesley Jones, officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
