OBIT DAILEY, B.

Bernice Phillips Dailey, age 97, of Montague St., died Tuesday, May 29, 1990 in Montgomery Regional Hospital. She was a 1916 graduate of Radford Normal School, which is now Radford University and was a former school teacher and principal. She is survived by two daughters, Miss Burnita P. Dailey, Christiansburg; Mrs. Cline (Mary D.) Phillips, Radford; a granddaughter, Phyllis Rich, Trenton, N.J.; two grandsons, Allen Phillips, Marion Phillips, both of Radford; a great-granddaughter, Amanda Rich; one niece, Margaret Phillips, Lynchburg. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m Friday from the Richardson-Horne Chapel conducted by Elder Raymond Goad and Mr. C.E. Mannon with burial in the Indian Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Floyd County. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Christiansburg Rescue Squad. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 Thursday evening at the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home.
