OBIT BUCKLAND, W.

William R. Buckland, age 72, of Griggs St. died Tuesday, May 29, 1990 in the VA Medical Center, Salem. He is survived by a brother, Norman E. Buckland, White Sulpher Springs, W.Va.; three sisters, Lilian Carron, White Sulpher Springs, W.Va.; Edith Forbes, Cleveland, Ohio; Louise Lockhart, New Market, Tenn.; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday from the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family suggests those wishing to make memorial contributions consider the Christiansburg Rescue Squad or the American Cancer Society. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home.
