PARTICIPANTS IN TRASH PICKUP TEST TO MEET

Montgomery County Supervisor James Moore will meet at 7 p.m. today with residents of the Lusters Gate and Mount Tabor areas, where the county plans to test mandatory trash pickup.

The Board of Supervisors proposed the experiment because of a shortage of easily accessible dumpster sites. Curbside collection is expected to cost about $5 a month.

The meeting will be at Slussers Chapel Church of God on Mount Tabor Road.
