The previously sealed indictment - unsealed Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Roanoke - charges Alexander Borsji Cowan, Stephanie Diane Jones and Sylvia Melissa Priest with three counts of possessing and intending to distribute crack.
The conspiracy ran from February to April of this year, according to the indictment. The three allegedly entered into an agreement in which Cowan would obtain crack and give it to Jones and Priest to distribute in the Roanoke area.
On April 24, a government informant purchased a package of crack from Priest and Jones, according to the indictment.
Two days later, Roanoke police officers executed a search warrant at the apartment. They found 60 baggies of crack and numerous loose pieces, the indictment charges.
