PRESBYTERIANS SEVER TIES WITH SOME CRITICS

The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A), embroiled in a dispute over the distribution of sexually explicit literature, has decided to take away semi-official status from some of its severest critics.

The 202nd General Assembly voted to delete a portion of the church's Book of Order that gives groups such as Presbyterians for Lesbian-Gay Concerns and Presbyterians Pro-Life the right to be officially represented at church meetings.
