\ Kenneth Edward Berringer, age 33, formerly of Buena Vista, died Monday, June 4, 1990, in Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Mr. Berringer was born July 25, 1956, in Rockbridge County, and was the son of Greta Slagle Berringer Mason and the late Roy Edward Berringer. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Roanoke and the Y.M.C.A. Surviving, in addition to his mother, are three brothers, Robert L. Burch, Steven Wayne Lewis and Bryan Lewis, all of Buena Vista; one sister, Lora Lee Mason, Buena Vista; maternal grandmother, Alpha Crawford, Buena Vista; stepmaternal grandmother, Betty Slagle, Buena Vista. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 7, at the Harrison Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery, Buena Vista. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Harrison Funeral Home, Lexington.
