`DISCOVER RUBY' FUNDRAISER

A special showing of the documentary, "Big Cat Tales - The World of the Jungle Book: Lion Forest" will be presented at Hollins College's Babcock Auditorium tonight at 7 p.m. The film documents the plight of the Asiatic lion that once thrived from Greece to Israel, with only 200 surviving today. Tickets are $3.50 for adults and $2 for children.

The "Discover Ruby" project is sponsored by Cox Cable Roanoke and the Discovery Channel to assist Mill Mountain Zoo in their fundraising efforts for a new habitat for"Ruby," the Siberian tiger currently residing at the zoo. Proceeds go directly to the zoo to make a suitable habitat at Mill Mountain Zoo for Ruby and other large cats. For information, call 344-4004.
