CIVIC BEAUTIFICATION NOMINATIONS SOUGHT

Nominations are being taken for the 1990 Civic Beautification Awards sponsored by the town of Blacksburg and the Townscape Committee.

Businesses, individuals and organizations are eligible to make nominations and receive awards. Nominees must be within the town limits.

Award categories: single-family residences, mobile home parks, multifamily housing, professional offices, historic preservation, adaptive re-use, institutions, commercial, industrial, well-designed parking, public areas, unique areas.

Get forms at the public library, municipal building, recreation center, Corner Drug, and Greater Blacksburg Chamber of Commerce. Forms must be returned to the town Planning Department by Aug. 1.
