OBIT MURPHY, R.

Robert Eugene Murphy, age 54, died Saturday, June 9, 1990, in a Salem hospital. He is survived by his mother, Edith R. Murphy, Cloverdale; four sons, Robert E. Murphy, Jr., David W. Murphy, Danny D. Murphy, Jeffrey A. Murphy, all of Atlanta, Ga.; one brother, Ernest L. (Buck) Murphy, Jr., Roanoke; three sisters, Mrs. Grady S. (Louise) Pasley, Roanoke; Doris Young, Cloverdale; and Mrs. James E. (Wanda) Wright, Daleville; five grandchildren. A graveside service will be held Monday, June 11, 1990, at 11:00 a.m. at the Daleville Cemetery with the Rev. Flavy Brown officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Rader Funeral Home, Troutville.
