Annie Christian Cummins, age 88, died Friday, June 8, 1990, in the Greensboro Health Care Center, Greensboro, Ala. Mrs. Cummins was born July 20, 1901, in Amherst County, a daughter of the late William O. Ware and Margaret Gibson Ware. She was the widow of Carroll Alexander Cummins and was a member of the Timber Ridge (Old Stone) Presbyterian Church. Surviving are one son, Roy Samuel Cummins, Roanoke; three daughters, Margaret Ellen Burke, Lexington; Mary Ann Herndon, Gordonsville; Jane Jones, Greensboro, Ala.; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Monday, June 11, 1990, at the Harrison Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Al Hamann officiating. Burial will follow in the Timber Ridge A.R.P. Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the Harrison Funeral Home, Lexington.
