Flossie B. Burkett, age 79, died Saturday morning in the Smyth County Community Hospital. She is survived by two sons, Robert G. Burkett, Nashville, Tenn.; Felix Burkett, Vinton; two daughters, Mrs. Miles (Betty) Smith of Saltville; Mrs. Milton (Brenda) Aust, Draper, Va.; two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Totten, Narrows; and Mrs. Odelene McGuire, Saltville; and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Henderson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mount Rose Cemetery.
