Isabelle Brizendine Eyler, age 73, of Roanoke, died Saturday, June 9, 1990, in a local nursing home. She was retired from the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Salem, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Electa Chapter #33 and a member of Red Hill Church of the Brethren. She was the widow of Clyde E. Eyler, Sr., and preceded in death by her son, Clyde E. Eyler, Jr. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Kathy E. and Barry S. Murray; sisters and brother-in-law, Doris B. Ricker; Lois B. and Garland H. Overfelt; four grandsons, Clyde E. (Skip) Eyler III, Lyle Scott Eyler, James Neal Arthur, Jr., and Daniel Mason Arthur, all of Roanoke; two stepgrandsons, Joshua Robert Murray and Andrew Stephen Murray, both of Gainsville, Fla. Funeral services will be held at Oakey's South Chapel 1:00 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. G. Ernest Deyerle officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Oakey's South Chapel from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday.
