OBIT THOMAS, D.

Mrs. Dossie K. Thomas, age 83, of the Berkshire Healthcare Center died Saturday. She was the widow of Norman S. Thomas and was retired from the American Viscose Corporation. Mrs. Thomas was a member of the Bonsack United Methodist Church. Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Lynn D. and Carolyn V. Thomas, Vinton; two grandchildren, Dawn Thomas and Jason Thomas, both of Vinton; four sisters, Marie McDowell, Essie Hickey, Ruth Driscoll, and Audrey Ruff, all of Bedford. Services will be at Oakey's Vinton Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Ken Butterworth will officiate. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Vinton. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday.
