DALTON, JOE\ Mr. Joe Dalton, age 89, passed away Saturday evening, June 9, 1990, in Wythe County Community Hospital. He was born July 30, 1900, in Carroll County, Va., a son of Wilburn Dalton and Keziah Worrell. He is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Curry (Edith) Mitchell, Hillsville; Mrs. Edsel (Pauline) Beasley, Knoxville, Tenn.; Mrs. Edgar (Louise) Rice, Arlington; Mrs. Walker (Mrytle) Dalton, Brook, Ind.; Mrs. Lola (Ruth) Robertson, Cleveland, Ohio; one sister, Mrs. Mae Dalton, Radford; two brothers, Mr. Ray Dalton and Mr. Ward Dalton, both of Hillsville; eleven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 12, at 1:00 p.m. at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel in Hillsville with Elder Joe H. McGrady officiating. Interment will follow in the Shockley Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel.
