SKY-DIVE OFF BUILDING KILLS MAN

Two skydivers leaped off the 54th floor of a partly built downtown skyscraper Sunday, and one man died when his parachute failed to open, police said.

Robert Morris, 26, of Mount Joy in southeastern Pennsylvania was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Rod Stoltzfus, 27, landed safely in a parking lot across the street just after dawn and left the scene, police said.

Stoltzfus called his pastor and went with him to see Morris' family before contacting police, said Detective James Mooney.

No charges were filed against Stoltzfus, who returned to his Manheim home, Mooney said.

Lt. Giacomo Giovinetti said police would wait to decide whether to file charges until they talk to Stoltzfus, who was expected to return for questioning.
