OBIT SHAFER, T.

Thomas Lee Shafer, age 20, died June 8, 1990, in an auto accident in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born in Buena Vista on October 12, 1969. Surviving are one daughter, Miss Courtney Nicole Shafer, Winston-Salem, N.C.; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Olin and Rita Clark Shafer, Piedmont, Okla.; one sister, Miss Christina Shafer, Piedmont, Okla.; two brothers, Michael E. Shafer, Winston-Salem, N.C.; and Patrick Shafer, Piedmont, Okla.; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Ruby Watkins, Buena Vista; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Frances Shafer, Buena Vista; stepgrandfather, Ray Watkins, Buena Vista. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Lomax Funeral Chapel by the Rev. William A. Seawell, Rev. Larry Clark, and Rev. Jesse Blankenship. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
