Ernest Clifton Perdue, age 68, of Roanoke passed away Sunday, June 10, 1990. Mr. Perdue was a Veteran of World War II, having served as a Sergeant in the U. S. Air Force. He retired from Grand Piano Furniture Company. He also was a member of Woodmen of the World. Surviving are four daughters and two sons-in-law, Jean E. Tomlinson; Linda M. and Floyd B. Stanley, of Roanoke; Karen L. and F. Joseph Copenhaver, Jr., of Marion and Wanda G. Elkins, Roanoke, his mother, Bertha A. Perdue, Roanoke; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Alvis V. and Jean Perdue, Ellis E. and Helen K. Perdue, all of Salem; Carl L. and Mavis Perdue, Sandston; one sister, Louise P. Ragland, Richmond; also, twenty grand and great-grandchildren and a host of friends and other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted from Lotz, Roanoke Chapel, 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, 1990 with Rev. Gene M. Hagenberger, Jr. and Rev. Graham Sowers, officiating. Interment in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at Lotz, Roanoke Chapel 12:00 noon thru 9:00 p.m. Tuesday.
