`TREE HOUSE GANG' IS MILL MOUNTAIN CENTERPIECE
Mill Mountain Theater will present as part of its Centerpieces series "The
Tree House Gang" June 20, at 12:15 p.m. at Center in the Square. The short
play is about three old friends who meet to play cards in a tree house. The
fourth member has recently died, but instead of replacing her, one of the gang
plays her hand. More gossiping is done than card playing, but its the true
friendships of the gang that wins the hand.
"The Tree House Gang" is part of a trilogy of one-act plays by Joan Vail
Thorne, a New York City playwright who graduated from Sweet Briar College. It
is directed by Mary Best-Bova and admission is free. Bring your lunch; the
program is 45 minutes in length, plenty of time to eat.
