MANDELA SAYS FORGET CIA ROLE IN ARREST

Nelson Mandela said Monday that, whether or not the CIA caused his imprisonment 28 years ago, it is time to forget about it.

Mandela made the comments when stopped by a half-dozen journalists as he and his wife, Winnie, emerged from a luncheon with West Germany industrialists. Mandela used the forum to argue once again that Western business leaders should keep sanctions against South Africa in force.
