Mrs. Vivian Cornett Gray, age 55, of Rt. 4, Vinton, died Monday evening at her home. She was a member of the Jordantown Church of God, where she had served as a former secretary treasurer. Surviving are her husband, Le Roy Gray; two daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Michael Mays, Rt. 4, Vinton; Donna and Stephen Baker, Roanoke; two grandchildren, Kristy and Jeremy Mays; four sisters, Bertha Lavin, Chicago, Ill.; Gracie Graybill, Vinton; Virginia Calhoun, Rockville, Md.; Alice Hatton, Covington, Ky.; two brothers, Billy G. Cornett, Vinton; Gene D. Cornett, Rockville, Md. Funeral services will be conducted from the Jordantown Church of God at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 14, 1990, with the Rev. Michael D. Werle officiating. Burial will be in the Gray Family Cemetery, Bedford County. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
