STAMBAUGH, MARCUS M.

Mr. Marcus Milton Stambaugh, age 75, died Tuesday, June 12, 1990, at his home in Marion. He was retired from Appalachian Power Company where he had worked for many years. He was a member of the Pulaski Masonic Lodge where he had served as Worshipful Master, a veteran of World War II and a member of the Royal Oak Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Helen Boyd Stambaugh, Marion; one daughter, Mrs. Sallie S. Lefler, Marion; two sisters, Mrs. Grace S. Dalton, Chilhowie; Miss Mary E. Stambaugh, St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands; four grandchildren, Billie Jean Lefler, Sallie E. Lefler, Shaun Marcus Lefler and Marian Durell Lefler. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with the Rev. Steve Cathcart and the Rev. Bill Leonard officiating. Graveside services will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Sunset Cemetery in Christiansburg. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Presbyterian Childrens' Home of the Highlands in Wytheville. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
