Mrs. Estelle P. Brown of 2641 Springhill Drive, died Sunday in a local hospital. Survivors include two daughters, Ms. Joanne Brown, Mrs. Marion Smith; one son, James L. Brown; one son-in-law, James Smith, all of Roanoke; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Hairston, Mrs. Beatrice Randolph, both of Roanoke; Mrs. Betty Toy, St. Louis, Mo.; Mrs. Billie Barron, Bridgewater, Pa.; two brothers, Elwood Petty, New York City; Othello Petty, Roanoke; two sisters-in-law, Leona Petty and Willie Petty, both of Roanoke; five grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at Morning Star Baptist Church with the Rev. L. A. Lewis officiating with burial in Williams Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home.
