Mrs. Ethel Dickerson Swain, formerly of Hardy, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Gladiola Walthall, 2128 Lynnhope Dr., N.W., on Sunday, June 10, 1990. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at Bellevue Baptist Church, Hardy, Va., with the Rev. James Pearson officiating with burial in the Swain Family Cemetery. Friends may call on the family on Wednesday from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Hamlar-Curtis Chapel. The remains will be placed in the church at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. Family and friends are asked to meet at the family headquarters, 2128 Lynnhope Dr., N.W. Hamlar-Curtis, Morticians.
