OBIT PERDUE, B.

Ben S. Perdue, of Roanoke County, died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was a member of Antioch Church of the Brethren and was a retired building contractor. Surviving are his wife, Virginia M. Perdue, Roanoke; daughters and son-in-law, Judy and Steve Poff, Vinton; Adrienne L. Perdue, Roanoke; sons and daughter-in-law, Michael D. and Nancy Perdue, Harrisonburg; Ben S. Perdue, II, Roanoke; two grandchildren, Edie and Angie Poff, Vinton; two sisters, Elsie McGuire, Hardy; Annie Perdue, Roanoke; three brothers, W.T. Perdue, Newport News; J. Henry Perdue, Wirtz; L. Paul Perdue, Rocky Mount. Funeral services will be held at Oakey's South Chapel 1:00 p.m Friday with the Rev. Glenn Kinsel officiating. Interment will follow in Sherwood Burial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. Thursday at Oakey's South Chapel.
