OBIT CROWDER, E.

Ethel Louise (Ka) Crowder, age 65, of Salem, died Wednesday. She was retired from Save-A-Stop and also worked for the Salem Times Register. She was also active in the Senior Citizen and Diners Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Crowder. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Gene and Mary Ann Crowder; Albert R. and Mary Crowder, both of Salem; two grandsons, Greg Crowder and Joey Crowder; one granddaughter, Cheryl Crowder; six sisters, Mildred Clark, Gerry Sarver, Phyllis Gearheart, Peggy Griffith, and Becky Sink, all of Salem; Ruth Booze, Gainesville, Fla. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 3:00 p.m. at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home Chapel, Salem, by the Rev. William A. McDaniel with burial in Sherwood Memorial Park. Arrangements by the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, Salem.
