OBIT PANNELL, H.

Harvey Vance Pannell, Sr., age 87, of 1401 Leon St., N.W., died in a local hospital Thursday. He was the widower of Mrs. Mary Jane Pannell. He was a retired employee of the American Viscoe Co. Surivors include one son, Harvey V. Pannell, Jr.; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Shirley Pannell; two grandchildren, Lawrence and Jerome Pannell, both of Roanoke; a devoted nephew, Elmo Walthall, Roanoke; a host of other relatives and friends. Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
