\ Mrs. Ruth Hickman Oliver, age 81, of Roanoke, died Thursday, June 14, 1990. She was the widow of Carroll B. Oliver and was a retired registered nurse. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Barbara O. and John C. Scyphers, Roanoke; one son and daughter-in-law, Robert C. and Barbara Oliver, Nashville, Tenn.; one granddaughter, Pamela Dawn Scyphers; one sister, Mrs. Myrtle Kirkbride, Pearisburg. Graveside services will be conducted at Sherwood Memorial Park, 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 16. Arrangements by Oakey's North Chapel. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
